Espresso di Manfredi celebrates Sprezzatura

Espresso di Manfredi celebrates Sprezzatura

by Stefano

Espresso di Manfredi hosted friends, family and long term customers to a beautiful evening at Stefano Manfredi’s restaurant Balla to officially unveil two new coffee blends and celebrate sprezzatura on 26 February 2013.

In an evening of jazz, prosecco and of course coffee-inspired cocktails, guests came together to celebrate as Stefano, Wayne Archer and Julie Manfredi-Hughes introduced Audacia (a bold blend) and Chiaro (delicate) to the original Espresso di Manfredi blend Classico, along with the beautifully redesigned packaging and a range of Ceramica di Manfredi.

At the heart of Espresso di Manfredi is sprezzatura, a word more commonly used by the Italian fashion industry to describe the fluid style of the true professional. With decades of experience and passion between them, chef Stefano Manfredi and master blender Wayne Archer have sealed the essence of sprezzatura within their family of espresso blends. This unique collaboration originated in 2000 and continues to stay strong 13 years on.

Shoe designer, WAG and Sydney social royalty Terry Biviano hosted a Q&A with Stefano, Julie and Wayne giving guests an exclusive insight into the development of the new blends.

Guests who attended the launch had an opportunity to win some very exciting prizes by posing in the Espresso di Manfredi Photo Booth re-creating the hero brand image. All pictures were then posted on the Espresso di Manfredi facebook page and the three pictures that received the most likes/shares went in the running to win.

A warm congratulations to Jessica Rachel Pedemont for winning a beautiful bespoke woodgrain bike (like the one in the hero image). Second place goes to Chris Manos who has received a Prancing Horse and Balla drive and dine experience. Third place goes to Marta Gurzeda, Edwina Howie and Carolina Schuiling who will join us for dinner at the next Italian Regional Dinner Series at Balla.
